I lift weights and hike. Today I did a 4 mile with a 2000' elevation gain.

Weights for me too. Rons, in what way is Olympic lifting different than normal weights work?

I do high intensity interval cross fit style workouts once a week, and run once or twice a week depending on what I am training for.

Hiking most weekends, occasional backpacking trips. In the winter when my cycling drops off, I'll add some weight training and indoor cardio. I'll do some offroad unicycling in the winter as well, for a fun core workout.

I love to walk. I love both bicycling and walking. Walking is very important for me because good, strong aerobic walking does a lot to keep elderly folks like myself mobile. Bicycling gives me a better workout overall (I can tell because of the higher hr) but walking is definitely important.

Olympic lifting is the 2 lifts they do competively in the Olympics. They are the snatch and clean & jerk. I still compete in the Masters division. I think the Olympic style of lifting is a little more compatible with bike riding than the strictly power stuff.

Ice hockey 1-2x a week, weights and TRX at a local gym.
Getting smoked on the ice by college kids was the main reason I started biking again. It has made a huge difference, and now I have another expensive hobby!

Weights, spinning, Eliptical (usually on weight days, I do about 10 minutes warmup, and 20 to 30 minutes after weights to burn extra calories), cardio kick boxing. Soon I plan to get back to Pilates and Yoga.

Core workout once a week, with planks, stability work with a ball, and dumbbells. 1-2 runs a week, anywhere from 3 to 10 miles.
And I try to ride the fixie once a week. It's a bike, but VERY different as workouts go.

I need to get back to my other exercising, it's very easy for me to get caught in a rutt of cycling only. When I do do other exercise, I do free weights focusing mainly on upper body, arms, shoulders, wrists & so forth, I also occasionaly do cardio boxing with that dummie named BoB, also step block & stepper machine exercising, & I use one of those old cardioglide machines if you remember what those are, also a rowing machine. I try to do push-ups sometimes though I hate them. And I am wanting to convince myself to really give floor core type exercises a serious try (like the kind they show in bicycling magazine often) I just don't really like them much.

I lift weights 3 days a week and walk 3 days. Biking fills in and around these two activities the rest of the week.

I used to do a compound weight lifting program. I hurt my back though.
so I stopped at 230 deadlift / 190 squat, --never really got into the heavy stuff.
Did Thai Boxing for a while, but the good instructor left.
Now I just walk. :/

I paddle a kayak (great upper body workout), hike and backpack, and I'm starting to do some climbing. This weekend I camped below the pass and stood on the summit of Hannegan Peak.

Nothing.
I find pretty much everything else boring as hell and can't force myself to do it for longer than ten minutes. Thank god for the bike, it's something I just love doing.
