Front lights...remove or leave on
After a night ride, I took the front light off the handlebar and sat down for a rest. Looking at the light, I suddenly had a brainwave. I'm going to do another night ride tomorrow; why not just leave the light on the handlebar?
What say you, leave on or take off?
What say you, leave on or take off?

You leave everything on your bike though. Do you have a sound system on it yet?

This forum is going downhill.. honestly. I don't know if it's because winter is coming or what. I find myself visiting bikeforums less and less.

I leave my lights on most of the time, full time. The only time that I take them off (generally) is for club nights where weight and speed are of the essence. Beyond that, looking funky, or other people's opinion of it being there really doesn't matter to me.

Sometimes I get a brainwave and open stupid posts like this one instead of just ignoring it like I should.

I take my lights off for 2 reasons:
1. Prevent theft
2. Charge the batteries
I use them at night, during the day, in winter, in summer, on the road, and on the trail.

I leave them on the bike here in Vancouver. If I'm gonna park it in Portland I take them off (before someone else does that for me.)

Uber Goober
I leave my hub-generator and light on the bikes full-time. It's handy not to have to worry about it getting dark before I'm done.
With the MagicShine, I normally took it off, but it just used a rubber O-ring to go on, too.

OK, you're worried about your light getting stolen during the day while you're off the bike sipping your latte. Do you take your saddle off, too? It's not all that much harder to lift, if the thief has a multi-tool.
