Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story
Just watched this on Netflix and it got me thinking, was there ever a collective forum apology for all those is Greg Lemond crazy threads from back in the day?

Watched that a couple weeks ago and it reinforced my absolute lack of sympathy for him. He doped. A lot of cyclists doped. However, he went after his accusers with a level of malicious vengeance and an army of lawyers using a scorched earth policy. I think a lot of the higher ups and sponsors in the sport knew or suspected but didn't want to kill the golden goose so they pulled a Sgt. Schultz "I see nothing" attitude and let him squash people with an offense built on lies.

While cheating in itself is reason enough for me to dislike him, the fact that he attempted to destroy other people's lives is reprehensible. And, Trek's participation in this vis a vis LeMond has made it easy for me to avoid buying their stuff.

The only thing that really shocked me was the Triple Crown deal as it went down. I mean I know that deals like that are made for stage wins at times but the whole damn race? It has matured me somewhat in the way that I look at some of my '80s cycling heros who were in on that.

Yeah man, I seriously don't know how all those Lance-zombies who blindly defended him over the years (with tears in their eyes) to the last, despite all the mounting evidence, expect everyone to forget they were all in with him.
I mean, how can they ever expect to be taken seriously again unless they come clean too? They were (are) as pitiful as he was(is). Many, many mea culpas are in order, IMO.
