I think we are going to see Admiral Ackbar soon enough, but yes...plot is unwinding really slowly right now.

The show simply hasn't been good since season 1. It's a zombie show that refuses to die.

It's currently the most-watched cable show. But that sound is the shambling masses making their way towards the exit if this thing doesn't perk up pronto.

Number of eyes does not equal quality, see American Idol and other reality TV examples.

I like this season. How many times can you stab a dead guy in the head? That was getting kind of old. This season is all about trust and awareness. Rick and company don't know if they can trust the new group which seems to be completely unaware of reality and unprepared for the worst...but somehow they are thriving with seemingly zero active protection. Rick's gang has either stumbled upon the luckiest bunch of survivors ever or the most devious. I doubt the show is going to end the season with everyone living happily ever after in the new neighborhood. I like how we get to see the main characters starting to revert back to their old selves (Rick is a cop again, Daryl gets to work on a motorcycle, Carol is a house-frau, Carl is a kid...) I just hope this series doesn't completely spin out of control like so many other shows that just get ridiculous and unwatchable in the late seasons.

Agreed. I think we're just in the lull before the cliff-hanging storm.

Same. The very end of the last episode had rick looking like he had lost it. I wasn't paying close enough attention to catch what he and daryl and what's her face were planning.
