You should fix this man. Not safe. BTW, is it possible to tilt the saddle nose below than what it is on the photo or is this the limit? Because it looks like it might be a little bit uncomfortable to me.

Hey Nick,

I was playing around with the seat height the other day and didn't even realize I left the lever in this position (didn't even notice it in the photo). Thanks for the heads-up!!!

I think Specialized recommends that this saddle is supposed to be tilted slightly upward like this but I'm finding it a little uncomfortable after about 30 mins. I'm actually going to tilt the seat a bit forward as well.

I think Specialized recommends the saddle in the "nose up" position because this puts the target sit area (the last third of the saddle) more or less level. If you tilt it down to where the nose is level, or at least closer to it, your rear might want to slide forward down the ramped sit area, putting more pressure on your hands, wrists, and arms. Of course, some people will find this configuration comfortable and others won't, but that's the intent of the design anyway.

Sounds correct if you sit upright.

There's nothing unsafe about this as long as the QR is secured. And even if the QR opens somehow, all that happens is the saddle will fall down.

St George Island riding our Rolls.....these bikes really are fun and comfortable to ride. Switched out brakes to hydro instead of mechanical when we purchased.

FWIW the nose up means my “boys” seem to get ground up with each shift of my legs. If you’re still chasing kids, chase a different saddle config. Just saying...

My friend wanted fenders on his Roll. I didn't find any good reviews of the Specialized fenders, so we went with these. They were expensive and fiddly to install, but they seem pretty solid once on there.

This was the only 27.5" fender set I could find that was both wide enough, and looked rigid enough to me.

I got the ones from Specialized that they recommend for the Roll. $50. Do they still offer those?

Thank you...Specialized still sells theirs. The look a little grandma, so I wanted options. Reviews also say they arrive dented or warped. The link to the squarish ones looks like an option. Gonna look a bit more before ordering

My local Specialized dealer stocks the fenders for the Roll, and your dealer may also. Have you checked with them to see what they recommend? That would be a great opportunity for them to point out the Specialized ones if they stock them.

The Specialized fenders are $50 a set and they are plastic. Expensive for what you get, but they do a decent job. Easy to install also and wide enough to accommodate the Roll stock tires. Hope this helps!

Just ordered the Roll rear rack today and my new Rock Brothers trunk bag arrived today. Once I get the rack later this week I will get it installed and the new bag on I will get some pics posted up. Planning a 36 mile ride and a 2 day ride that's 44 miles each day so just getting stuff ready. Going to be nice to have some extra room to bring things along on the ride and not needing a back pack all the time. Now I have the different choices between the new bag that also can open up on the side with panniers and my back pack. Can't wait for nicer weather so I can start riding again. Really miss getting out riding my Roll with my friends.
