Accident on East Side of Independence Pass Following Today's Race

There was a really bad accident on the east side of Independence Pass following Stage 3 of the USAPCC. The rider looked badly hurt (we came on it a few minutes after it happened and there were a bunch of people helping him and the ambulance was on its way). Does anyone know what happened?
