I'm assuming you only ride the bike downhill with a tailwind?

Not at all. I live in an area without hills (north germany, near the dutch border) and doesn't have problems so far.

Here is a mock up of my Gazelle, put some 27" Araya rims laced to some old Shimano hubs, re-purposed a 6 speed rear into a single speed.

here is what it looked like when I got it

New tires on the Giant.
I'm not sure I like it. A little too much red I think.

Looks good. I'd go with tan sidewall tires myself.

I really like that basket. I see on their website that they say it fits a 6 pack. How much can you get into it? I'm looking for a basket to replace my backpack on trips to the grocery store for a few things.

Not being a huge fan of colored tires, I actually like these with the bike. Has enough black and white to break it up.

I agree, I think its looks good too, despite personally not really liking "colored" tires......

Please forgive the lack of retention, I still haven't got the Dr.'s or PT's approval to ride even a dang trike yet.

Yes, it's the Torhans VR Aero Bottle. Because the frame doesn't have lugs for a bottle cage I used the Two Fish Quick Cage Adapter for the mount. Not that a single speed 60/30 needs aero help, but I couldn't pass on the colors lol.

Those mirrors sure are not aero. So let me get this straight, this is a carbon belt single speed with a flip flop hub and is set up as a 60 tooth front ring, and a 30 in the rear?
