will they ran out of the Origin8 so did find the Alta Bicycle Tire Duro 26" x 4.00 $99.00 with to 4" tubes so got them. oh yeah and I did not want to use rim tap, so I designed some 3d printed rim plugs . Took 6 tries to get the fit right on the caps as I call them. Then 10.5 hours to print 72 of them. But they are nice and tight and no need for rim tape. Will get some photo's on here in a few days. forgot to photo the rim with the caps installed. Maybe next time I replace the tire.but I did get a photo of one of the caps.

Oh does anybody know the size Allen wrench the disk breaks rotor bolts are? I have tried al the metric hex keys a have and none fit.

Here is the Motor and back wheel next to a 700c rim. this is a monster of a wheel. The tire has a 29" Rad. on a 26" rim.

Here is the Frame and wheels together. Good thing I am 6'2" tall. I have a 34" inseam, when I seat on the seat the bike comes down about 2". Feels like I am standing up when flat foot LOL.

Now about the breaks. I want the safety cut off in the break Levers so I found these Hybrid breaks. There cable to the calipers and Hydraulic system. Their made by Juin Tech and they will set you back $160.00 USD.

Seen this headlight but not sure about the $129.99 price. So just might have to 3D print one something like it

The disc bolts use a Torx wrench, not an Allen wrench.

So got everything for the Bomber build, expect for the rear Derailleur and battery. Next up is the controller and the wiring. Did a test hook up of the drive system and found out with this controller I can go up to 72v at 40a output. Talked to the company and the motor can take 72v as well. But Think I'll stick to 52v or 60v for now.

So here is the bike built up t this point.

Don't mind the mess, I have tools and packing stuff everywhere LOL

Got the 12v motorcycle installed alone with front turn singles.

All I need now is the battery and kick stand. I have use a 48v 20ah before along with a 52v 20ah on the my third Ebike build. Thinking about going with a 60v Lifepo4 for this bike. Well really two batteries. I can get a 60v 20ah for $343.00.

Battery is here. now. Just need to wire in everything. I did get a 72v to 12v converter to wire in the motorcycle headlight tail light and turn signal.

well the dc to dc convertor did not work. Ad said it was good up to 72v, So tried it and blow it out. Got all the lights wired up and wired the battery just to fine a error 7 code on the display. went over the phase wires and the power lines. every thing looks good but still getting error 7 code. got with the motor vendor to see what they might know about the code 7. they don't know what's causing it. tried a 52v battery, something error 7 code, tried a 35amp controller something error 7. the wheel is making a low kind of growl when I throttle up and the controller shut down like in protection mode.So not sure what's up with the motor.

ok found out what was causing the noise and power loss/ motor shut down. I had installed some bullet connectors on the 3 phase wires to the motor and it was chocking down the current flow to the motor and casing the controller to shut down the power to the motor. so went back to the Ring connectors and all is good now.

Got the bike out for the 1st test run 2 miles at 35mph. Didn't want to do a fast run until I get the bike shaken out and the battery broken in. Problems at all with the run. But this bike is 125 lbs and rides like a tank. I have a 48v at 2000 watts motor take can go up to 72v at 3000 watts. I am running the BrtPower battery at 20 ah. now the motor is pulling 42.6 amps max so that makes this a 2400 watt system at 60V. Even whit the Fat Heavy wheels it will get to 30mph is about 3.5 seconds. My 1500 watt 700c E bike takes 7 to 8 seconds to get to 30mph. Now that's out of the way I do have to say this bike rides like a motorcycle. Meaning that it steers like a motorcycle more than a bicycle. It's not as agile is a bicycle like most E bikes and it weighs twice as much.

No I live in Texas in in Texas as long as it's got pedals in a chain drive system. Then it is considered an E bike. Which a E bike in Texas has the same rights to the road is a regular bicycle. However this does not look like any bike so I'm sure the police will have to investigate it blah blah blah.

Here is how the bike looks so far

First day commuting to work on the Bomber clone. All went every well. The roads I ride have a 30 mph speed limit. so the top speed was 36.1mph and there is a small section where it's a school zone of 20mph. Made it to work in 7 minutes and 24 seconds for the 2 miles. On the way home no school zone so 6 minutes and 28 seconds.

Here is the walk around video,

Nice job; looks like it'll serve you well. Be interesting to see how long the motor lasts. Some on Endless Sphere are reporting 25,000 miles on those DD systems. Not surprising since they have basically one moving part.

Thanks 2old.

Well as for the last year of riding (Nov 1st to Nov 1st) I put 1285.33 miles on the Schwinn. So if I get 25,000 miles out of this motor. That would be about 19 1/2 years of riding. I am good with that. Because I am 58.5 years old. That means I would be 78 years old when it dies LOL

update for the Build. I had put 731 miles on the 3000 watt 60v motor. But it lacked power for the heavy frame. about 165 lbs. So Got a 5000 watt 72v motor and Now I get a top seep of 54 mph and keep up with the cars a lot better. Also got a motorcycle seat. any ways here is the new photos of the build.

Very nice looking e-bike.
Curious about the operation among motorized vehicles, do folks or LEOs (Law Enforcement Offices) give you a hard time when you disobey motor vehicle laws?
Have you had any run-ins with LEOs?
I had my converted Balfa downhill bike operating on the streets for a few months, the (higher) speed really attract unnecessary attention from drivers & LEOs. Not long before I discover that having a smaller, folding bike outline provide much "incognito" effect among the motorized vehicles, also attract less attention from bike thieves.

I live in Texas. I ride by the Police Station every day. They all knew me because of this. I have been asked a lot of Questions about the bike by every one. I never get bad attention on the Man Max e-bike. But on my Schwinn e-bike I have been told by passing cars to get off the road and crap like that. And the funny thing is they both go the same speed when the Mad Max had the 3000 watt motor. But now it has a 5000 watt motor and I can leave the cars standing at a stop lights.

I guess the demographic is a little different in Brooklyn, e-bikes are plenty and LEOs tend not to pay attention to who or which e-bike is riding around; if they feel like giving you a ticket, they will.
Traffic pattern is also quite different, riding e-bikes among bumper-to-bumper traffic is very common, traffic lights nearly every 1/4 of a mile, there really isn't much need for speed above 25 mph in Brooklyn traffic.
Most pedal bicycle can easily leave a car in the dust just by going between car mirrors when traffic flow is constantly at 10-15 mph.

today on the way to work I was doing 47 mph, Every one notices the Mad Max LOL. One guy asked "That's putty quite, is it gas?" Ever light I get asked something, but most of the time it's "How fast will it go?" Truth be told I don't really knew. Never been Passed 50 MPH. but it will get to about 47 MPH in under a 1/4 mile. As we know as E-bikers, the 1st 2/3 of your top speed can be reached very quickly. The last 1/3 of the top speed takes a while to get to top speed. On the Mad max it will go from 0 to 30 MPH in about a 1/10th of a mile. Once I had it up to 49 MPH and it still had a little throttle left.
