Saddle Sag
Most every saddle I've had before, over time, loses it's shape and starts to sag in the middle. My old Fizik Arione, for example, started out perfecty flat. Gradually over time it took up a dip in the middle where, if I took a level and rested it on the nose and rear of the saddle, there would be almost a half inch sag in the middle. This, naturally, affects bike fit to some degree, as you can't easily slide back and forth without discomfort.
Does anyone have any tips to prevent the sagging, short of buying a new saddle every couple months?

My wife and I are light-weights, never had a saddle sagging problem. But those we ride with are all sizes, with all types of saddles, never heard of nor noticed any problem with saddles developing a sag on theirs either. If your saddle is sagging, are the rails bending also, or is the base cracking?

I’ve had an Arundel Uno for almost 5 years and still looks good as new. But since my wife and children have all gotten into cycling with me since last summer, I upgraded to the Arundel Medio. Not only is it water resistant, the extra room is a huge plus. I have a tube, (4) CO2s, mini tool, patch kit and an inflator with storage container.

I've always associated saddle sag with leather sling-type saddles and over-zealous treatment with leather conditioning products, not plastic-based saddles. Are you perhaps heavier than what the saddle is designed to carry?

My Brooks B-17's developed a slight sag after about 15 years. A little tightening on the tension adjustment and they were good as new. They will outlive me .
