There is an attachment from an Asian company that attaches to the rear of the rack and - as far as I remember - there are versions for Birdy, Dahon and Tern. with this the bikes roll more or less like a Brompton in theory. I only know it from pictures and it looked very strange as it was attached more or less behind the carrier in an ~40° angle. No idea how good it works. I think it was pretty pricey for what it is and can unfortunately not remember the name of the company that makes it.

The Dahon bikes I've owned and seen rolled great folded up without any silly little wheels attached.

Yeah, many folding bikes have a native folded-roll (some better thought out than others). Is there a specific bike you're inquiring about, or...?

Most folding bikes will roll on their own wheels in the folded position.
