Anyone use $150 Graphenlube?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Doubtful - it was just announced. Also, they have little bottles available for 15 bucks or for free with a $100+ purchase (if available, I assume). I'm sure that someone will try it out for gits and shiggles, if nothing else.

1800km on a single application? That must be the longevity for indoor track use

They've done it. They've cracked the code. They found an additive (graphene) to chuck into the most inexpensive chain lube (wax) to create a lube that apparently sells for $1 per milliliter. That even outpaces black printer ink, so kudos on that.

This is a pure cachet item. It could be the best chain lube in the world and still never approach anything remotely resembling cost effectiveness. Right at home on bikes with Ceramicspeed 3D printed Ti pulleys and nutso BBs.

If it lasted that long, stayed clean, and worked as advertised, I'd be all over it. I doubt it will.

And for the Zipp 454 crowd, they won't even care about the $-per-ML. They'll see the low three digit price and just add it without a thought.

Negative Ghostrider! I will stick to my run of the mill $10 tops for 4 oz. typical chain lube. Gimmicks sell and this will be no different. I have to say the pretty green bottle and style makes one think they are getting the Holy Grail however.

The fact that it looks like a bottle of cologne or aftershave is not an accident.

Reduces pedal force by over two pounds per stroke!! I'm sold. Also, made in Poland, independently tested in Poland. Not suspicious at all.

Someone else made a thread about dumping graphite (not graphene) powder into a wax pot. I looked it up, and apparently graphite dust is between 5 and 50 microns per particle in size. I looked it up, and extensive exposure to this dust can cause pneumoconiosis, which is similar to what miners get.

Graphene particles are probably even worse.

So I would not advise licking it.
