Spoke length help :/
Hi, I'm trying to understand various spoke-calculator sites, but seem to trip up before arriving at my goal!
Could a kind soul out there help me out?
REAR WHEEL for rim brakes
Rim: Mavic A719, 36 hole
Hub: Shimano Deore FH-T610 (36 hole)
Thanks!

This is the best I have found. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/rinard/spocalc.htm He didn't have that hub, but I think I have found the dimensions at shimano's site. 38mm for the bolt circle and 35.8 for the flange location for a spoke length of 292.1 mm. If you have the hub double check the dimensions.
This was for 3 cross.
Sorry about the dimensions for a front wheel. I forgot that the FH in shimano's description means freehub.

More DIY..
Remaining Work _You do.. need the ERD & the hub's spoke hole circle diameter.
tool bought: a measuring Caliper... digital readout is one kind
ERD can be measured with 2 spokes, hung opposite from each other in the rim. nip threaded as it would be, finished..
you measure the gap between them with your caliper ... + the length of those 2 spokes.
caliper can measure that hub hole diameter too
now you have numbers to plug into the rest of the calculation

How many crosses?
What size rim? Bike wheels come in multiple diameters.

I'm math averse and share your intimidation by spoke calculators. If you order from BikeHubStore they will figure for you, but no guarantee if they get it wrong.

Pro builder list the A719 with an ERD of 601, Mavic with 598. Last time I used three spoke calculators and selected the top two sizes, Still wound up needing an extra 1-2mm on the spokes so... check the other sites and check the assumptions listed. Make sure those are what you have for your stuff. Don't ASSUME these are correct.
ASSUMPTION: Wheel size, 700C, Mavic A719
ASSUMPTION: ERD of 598mm according to Mavic
ASSUMPTION: 3x cross
ASSUMPTION: 2.0-1.8-2.0 double butted spokes
ASSUMPTION: Hub Dimension according to Nashbar
ERD of 598
With an ERD of 601...
ERD of 601
Check these against a few other calculators...and the actual products in your hands.

Since my question is about mavic rims I'll put that here. Newbie wheelbuilder here and I'm trying to build a single speed bikes wheels to mavic open elites.
Mavic open elite this is the rim in question. On the site, it says: Spoke bed diameter (ERD): 605 mm but also , when pressing the button for more information it says: ERD= spoke bed diameter + 2x nipple height. This I cannot comprehend because if erd is 605mm and also 605mm + 2 times nipple height? So would I put to the rim calculators 605 and add 4mm to the result I get?
prowheelbuilder.com/spokelengthcalculator Does not seem to have the rim. I do not have the rim yet as its still on its way from the store but it might be best to just wait and measure the dimensions from the rim itself, no?

Now I will say it may help to measure your actual rim and not what the website has. But I wouldn't expect them to be more than 1mm away from each other if anything.
