New guy to forums and I Haven't Used a Car for any errands in town.

Well two months ago the wife and I took a vacation at a resort in the North Shore of Minnesota. They had bicycles for use and that got us to thinking how much fun it was to ride. So we came home fixed the wife's old bike and I purchased a Schwinn Le Tour from a LBS. (This was after weeks of trying to pursue and purchase a Craigslist bike, but was unsuccessful.) We ride almost daily now and I can honestly say in the last month we haven't driven a car to do any of our local errands (Library, Bank, Shopping for Groceries, Coffee shop runs, and eating at the local dining establishments.)

According to Wii Fit: I have lost 10 Lbs in the last month. Not too bad considering only small changes to my eating habits.

Here are some pics of my Schwinn Le Tour.. It was an 2007 Model I had at a good deal:

Most Important Bicycle Accessory, It keeps my rides with wife and neighbors fun and goofy:

Nice! The North Shore/BWCA has that effect! I love that area.
