what's a nice looking 90's stem in black
This is going to sound like a dating ad gone wrong:
ISO: Attractive black stem, born around 1990 which is stiff.....
But really, I'm building a Landshark from 93'ish and I'm looking for a stem that would fit the era. Looking for something in black, 1" quill. Salsa, Modolo, Cinelli's...what else am I leaving out?

I like Italmanubri stems, otherwise known as ITM.
Made-in-Italy and they make quite a few attractive stems in black...

I love this stem from ITM. I con't know what model it is, but I suspect it is from the 90's.
It's a clamshell design, hinged at the front (where the hinge is hidden by the plastic frontal piece with "ITM" logo on it).
The clamp hinges open with the silver portion swinging forward after you take off an allen headed bolt from the bottom of the stem.
They used to pop up at eBay once in a while, but I've hardly seen them again after I bought this one for my Alan project build.

Ooooh that ITM is pretty. I've seen several that are of similar design but the silver hump in the middle of that one looks really good.
