Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They're handy for angles at which you can't use the 6" foam roller, or the quad-******. You can also put one point on the floor and use your leg and arms to drive the other point into your gastroc. Quite painfully and strictly hypothetically. Mentioning for a friend. Ok I just did that.

We're not taking a turn.

Imagine the epic sailing MoAlpha is going to miss out on.

My cyclist friend who lives in SF area said he is not allowed to ride in the hills nearby due to evacuation/wild fires. Sigh.

My brother is in Sonoma county up in the hills and he took pics of the fires from the road leading to his house. He hasn’t had to evacuate yet though.

We are in the medium green zone. There are a lot of appliances on the roof, not bolted down or otherwise at risk. AC compressor, Water tank, propane tank, solar water heater, solar panels are bolted down but I don't know about their wind speed limits.Internet receiver tower.

Um, ow?

Yeah, the rolling pin's got some uses, but if I had to live without one of the two, I would happily jettison it. The 6" roller? Nope, never gonna give it up.

That bear has walked further this summer than DougRNS has ridden, probably. Oh, and swimming, too.

Oh it started two weeks ago when dunken decided to drop pumpkin slice lattes on us. Where they found pumpkins who were mature enough to go into a latte is the question.

I've got a click, now.

I thought that it was from some mud/grit that I'd stepped in last weekend when I came a cross some construction, but cleaning out the cleats and injecting new grease in to the pedals didn't get rid of it. It's definitely pedal/crank, though - it's only happening on the left pedal down-stroke. It almost sounds like when the end of the shift cable is hitting the crank arm, but it's not that.

Check your bottle cages. That’s my answer for everything, I am officially that guy now.

And the squeak turned into a CLICK that’s how I solved it.
