It seems to me you don't like chicken. Is that what I am hearing? That's ok, not all people have the same taste in food. I think that's why Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors. 1 for every day of the month and enough variety to keep everyone happy.
Rotisserie chicken/beer can chicken or even grilled marinated boneless skinless chicken breast is delicious in my opinion. I enjoy a steak as well.
I also support the vegetarian diet as well - lowers demand and I save in the end. Win-win!

And yes, people can have different taste. Doesn't hurt me any when someone has fried chicken, but everyone seeming to have trouble understanding what I'm saying has me in a "what's this thread about" mood.'

In other news, wondering now if I should hold off on the fancy gravel bike for a year to see if the new DA changes anything. Can get an alloy Topstone in the meantime if I get the real hankering to have something to bang around.

But yeah, unconventional pizzas. *Sigh.* I think that they're more likely to be ordered in a group because people want to try it but don't want to be committed to finished the damned thing by themselves. For instance, there's a place by me that sells a Korean beef pizza with kimchi - I was happy to have a piece, but I'm not making that my whole meal. That's the opposite of beige, though. That's chartreuse, or something.

Are you still thinking steel, possibly custom? If so, why not get that rolling and see what shakes out with the groupsets in the meantime?

Honestly, not a fan. But my point is, a steak, cooked on its own, tastes good. Chicken "tastes good" when it's breaded and fried and basted and other effort is put into making it not taste terrible. The "chicken tastes good" crowd never (or almost never) likes chicken just grilled with a bit of salt and pepper.

I don't, but no, my point was about how whenever, in the real world, someone tells me chicken is excellent it turns out that they mean fried or barbecued chicken.
And yes, people can have different taste. Doesn't hurt me any when someone has fried chicken, but everyone seeming to have trouble understanding what I'm saying has me in a "what's this thread about" mood.'

How is the new house? Settled in yet/does it feel like home?

There is a guy who rides with club #2 sometimes but his doesn't have pedals. He climbs on it but not fast. He was behind me once and another guy said it sounded like a copy machine back there.

Smart money says new DA will be 12 speed. Not sure about anything else. I would not mind wireless shifters but that’s less likely.

I really hate decisions, in case y'all haven't noticed. An Intel-style roadmao would help.

Yes. And if that means I go 1x, that's interesting, and they could do semi-wireless by doing a battery to the derailleurs but no the shifters, which simplifies routing. Will they change to microspline? Will spacing change? Dammit I'd like to be able to plan; don't they know some of us need to know everything?

Sort of. I wish we had known we'd be WFH for the foreseeable future and just not moved in the first place. The new windows should arrive in a couple of weeks and then I should be able to relax a bit more, if they do kill off the neighborhood noise.
