SMH: for abbreviations I just google them. Remember, GIYF. You should do same, IMHO.

For weird terms, like pineapple, I go over to the Urban Dictionary. Just don’t stay there too long. It can become a real goat rope.

For terms unique to BF, I think someone on the 41 once dialed it up to 400 W, busted their guads and asploded. YMMV.

L8r dude. I’m going afk.

Every sport and in particular those requiring dedicated equipment, techniques and kit, develops it's own precise technical language(s) of concepts, hardware bits n bobs and tactics that inevitably become abbreviated, nicknamed and acronyms. There is no handy dictionary or translation app on "How to Speak Roadie" or any other cycling discipline's insider language that I'm aware of other than complete immersion in the sport's culture and an attentive ear.

Your forgot to DROPE THE HAMER before you dialed it up to 400 watts, and shot the guy "the look".

Everybody in the bike world knows their RD from their FD. The exact number for ETT. ST & HT. YMMV.

ATMO was, I think, coined by Richard Sachs, aka @e-RICHIE.

Can you provide us with an example?

Those expressions are hardly “common” usage by cyclists or anyone else. Never ever heard most of them.
