Just ordered a b17 from Wiggle along with some proofide. I signed up for the enewsletter and got 5pounds off voucher which translated to like 7.50 USD, so I got both for about 83 bucks shipped.

Question about the b17. I'm thinking of ordering one for my girlfriend, however, should I really be concerned about getting a ladies saddle or would a standard work just as well?

You should measure your lady's sit bone to see if they match up with the regular B17.

I think on wiggle its the same price anyway. Only difference is that the rear side is wider, and the front is narrower.. I think lol. Maybe just do what vixtor said to do.I didn't even measure myself. How do I measure my sit bones? Lol

You could get your sit bones measured at shops with the Specialized Ass-o-meter or you could just use a tailor measuring tape and measure the bones that slightly protrude on your rear end.

Nashbar is running a pretty good sale on lights right now.

Also 20SINGL for 20% off any single item.

Shame I just purchased lights on Amazon literally last night. Maybe I'll pick up some back-ups (though I really just want to cancel the amazon order but I don't think thats possible).

I'm a little late to catch this, but I've gone to Bikeman many of times, and they are great. I got my Lazer O2 helmet for a great deal through them (by chance, but oh well).

Speaking of which, if anyone is looking for a very very comfortable, attractive, light, and breathable helmet for a reasonable price:

https://www.speedgoat.com/Catalog.aspx/Browse?Prod=16640
$66.67

This helmet converted me to a helmet-wearer.

Best price I've ever seen. I am a big fan of Speedgoat as well.

Someone try buying from this guy:
https://cgi.ebay.com/full-carbon-700C...item336130411c

Saw a gloss white one for sale from the same seller but the details showed black
Emailed asking about the color and was answered with "hi,thanks for your message. do as your favour. the black or white all ok.thanks!" without an option to choose color.

Well they're probably fake.

But I'm sure you knew that, given he's selling them for 60% less than retail.

thanks a lot. I just bought a Cobra with that (and just bought Metropolis on Ebay for similar difference in price). I'll probably regret not snagging an Ivan, oh well.
