General Road bike?
I had a chance to pick up a frame fork with the bb and the headset full. no brakes wheelsets etc, But i have never heard of a "general" brand road bike,, (for some reason i remember bmx though),, any thoughts on this frame?? should i get a closer look? or let it go with the $15 ted williams free spirit i saw at the goodwill? It was hanging in a garage with a lot of stuff in front of it.

I owned a General in the early 80's that I bought from a hardware store new for about $125.00 US. It was hi ten steel with steel Falcon derailleurs. Steel 27" rims & hubs too if I remember right. It was a tank, but I loved it at the time.
I have no idea what model it was or if they made higher end models. I haven't seen another one since I got rid of it.

My apologies to the flea market enthusiasts for my glib comment.
