Grx 46-30 & R8000

Can you use a GRX 46-30 crankset assuming all the other components are Ultegra R8000?

Some have tried the GRX cranksets with Shimano road front derailleurs and reported that while it works, there is some chain rub which could not be adjusted out due to chainline differences.

I believe @jppe was one of the users and reported so in the 50+ forum.

Please confirm by looking at the threads here but I believe that is the case.

Others will chime in, I'm sure.

I have seen the same answer in a couple of reviews on the GRX. Suggestion is to buy a GRX front derailleur. Not sure but I believe I have seen them for around $40, but that is for the 10 speed.

Correct on getting the GRX FD. It works really well and is easy to install and adjust. I have the banded FD so I need the adapter which was less than $15.
