Having received the other saddle I have to echo Chombi. Excellent deal, good to deal with!
YAY for Brockd!!
Like I told him, he was way too conservative when he described the saddle he had for sale.
What came blew my expectations! So beautiful and so well preserved his 1984 Brooks Pro! It even looks a lot better than many new unused ones I've seen!
Thanks again Brock!

Bought a frameset from BlueDevil63. He's easy to deal with and the frameset was very nicely packaged. A+

JetSanchez read a thread here where I said my frame was too small. He may have also read other threads where I pined for my old Bianchi that I had in the 80s.
He gave me a mid 80s Bianchi lower end Japanese built frame and chromed fork for free. They were in good shape, not pristine but better than average for an 80s frame. And it is my size, so its all good.
It doesn't get much better than free. I'm still working on building it up, have most of the components.

Catching up on transactions here. I was in Japan for some time and was not around to actually open any of the numerous boxes that arrived at my office.
All of the members mentioned were great communicators and also really really good at packing their items for shipping: redcaymatt, mapleleafs-13, Force, and Ex Pres.
Thanks very much for helping me in my building process!

Recent transactions. Most good, one not so much.
Conducted business with a few people on here lately. We'll cover 'em all in one post.
PatTheSlat: Bunch of busted Simplex bit. Arrived as described, and containing the parts I needed to fix a set of busted DT shifters. Thank you.
thinktubes: Free Izumi gloves. They were good. Picked them up to see if I would like wearing riding gloves. When they wore out, I promptly bought another set, so I guess I like them. Thank you.
mapleleafs-13: Suntour Barcons. Nice units. Look nice on the Univega, and are a good complement to the Suntour GT derailuers. Thank you.
Henry III: Tekro road bike brake levers, and two set of DT cable stops. Parts look every bit as good as new. Levers and one set of cable stops already installed. Workin' great. Thank you.
lasauge: Campy aero seat post. Came in looking as you had described. No problems here. Out being polished now. Thank you.
whatwolf: Phil Wood bottom bracket. English threaded, assume ISO taper. Link to thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...ving-sale.html
Copy/Paste of original text: Phil Wood 109mm bb with English cups. Assume ISO since it was mated to a campy crankset. $50
Purchased the required install tool, tore my Torpado down, went to install, and there ITALIAN threaded cups. Nice. I'm not a real pain, and I'm pretty patient, so I sent a PM a week ago.
PM text: "It turns out the cups on that Phil Wood bottom bracket are Italian thread, not English. Just though you should know." Now, if it were me receiving that text, I would respond
asking how I could make it right. Having to purchase another set of cups makes this BB more expensive than if I had just bought a similar used one off ebay.
Not amused.

I should have done this long ago..
Thanks to bikemore for some needed helicomatic hub cones and axles for the price of the postage.
I also bought a nice middle chainring from Dfrost that I've had a hard time finding - thanks!

Still learning
@seedsbelize sent me a clean 1987 Schwinn Prelude frame and fork, just my size in pretty pink. And for those who were worried if the fork was tweaked, it is perfectly strait where're it should be. Jerry also included a nice wind jacket.
Thanks!
i have a Tiagra 9 speed or 105 kit for the Prelude.

Had a very good transaction with Bianchigirll.
I am very happy with the wheels. Fast shipping and as described. Took them out on a 25 mile cruise today. Thanks.

Phil Wood bottom bracket.
Not amused.

Don't worry everyone I never remember to leave feedback on the bay either.
Had a few great inter actions with a few members in recent weeks. SteveWhitlatch, juls, kroozer, repechage, SJX426 (still looking for the/a lockring) and texastwister.
All were great to deal with!
