It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". The patent is expiring, so we should see some MTB pedal power meters coming to market in the next year. Some companies are developing prototypes...

Pretty cool mod. Mtb pedal based power meters seems like a bad idea though doesn't it? My pedals sure do take a beating, I can't imagine beating up expensive power meter pedals..

I think so...my pedals and cranks take a beating. But people want them I guess
