Mrs. GeneJockey loves that stuff, so it's not a good cure for insomnia.
She's taken to listening to a history of genetic engineering and the biotech industry to help her fall asleep. So, apparently my whole career, my whole industry, that has been feeding, clothing and sheltering her for the last 3 decades puts her to sleep.

That would be another route for the DeSalvo, but I have friends who had issues with the first gen. Like, the "queued shifts" issue... on TT bikes... that caused them to both crash at IMMoo. And they're both very good on the bike. The routing does appeal though.

I was watching a GCN video last night where they said that it's not 'lactic acid' that accumulates in your muscles when you've gone anaerobic. No, they said, it's 'lacate'.
O-o-okay. I mean "lactate" is the anion in lactic acid, but okay. Maybe it's Sodium Lacate? Then they said there's a large production of hydrogen ions.
So I thought, "If you have a lot of hydrogen ions, and a lot of 'lactate', don't you just have lactic acid?
Am I wrong here? I mean, chemistry was 40 years ago, but still.....

I just make a point of never watching GCN. Or really much of anything on YouTube. With the golden age of scripted television we're in, I think YouTube is now the far worse.

Set a new 60” power this morning: 472w. Nice to see improvements again after the heat snuffed those out over the past few months.

Oh, Florida:
"...a runaway barge at one point threatened to crash into Interstate 10's Escambia Bay Bridge, located several miles inland.
[Escambia County Sheriff] Morgan told the New York Times he considered several ways to stop the barge, including firing 40-millimeter grenades at it. That plan was scuttled when the sheriff decided it was too dangerous and probably wouldn't solve the problem."

As a side, I was quite confused trying to figure out what 5 feet of power was, then impressed with an hour of 472 wattage, final got it.....probably shouldn't mention that units of measurements is kindof what I do....
