An earlier picture shows the rims labeled as MAVIC Module 3D. These were a hooked edge, box section rim for high pressure, wired-on tyres. These days, most people erroneously use the term clincher when referring to wired-on tyres and rims. True clincher tyres do not have a kevlar or steel hoop encased in the bead. You've ordered the correct style of tyre.

I love this forum. Thank you so much.
Otherwise I would have had to cancel my order. More importantly, I would not have known how to "install" tubular tires ...

Cilo??

I picked up this cillo frame on Facebook marketplace and I'm having a hard time figuring out what model and year. Posting said 1980s. Serial is 33901. Any help is appreciated!😁

I don't know the model but based on what appears to be a bulge formed head tube, stamped dropouts, plate style seat and chain stay bridges and lamp bracket, it would appear to be an entry level model. I don't see any fittings other than a stop on the underside of the upper down tube for a shift lever or cable stop clamp, so it may pre-date the 1980s. What diameter of seat post does it take?

That‘s a very odd head badge and cilo font. Might be an export model, never saw anything like that here in switzerland.

Thanks for the link to the album! Hadn't quite figured that one out yet!
Seat post diameter is 26.34mm/1.23in inside and 31.99mm/1.25in outside.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a better bottle cage, maybe gold or brass or copper?
