Headset compatibility
Hi , i'am tring to sell my old fork.
a Buyer ask me today if that fork is compatible for his frame.
He need a fork with the specific measurement 1 1/8 , i have no idea how to measure that but i can measure with the caliber.
Is the fork compatible with his headset?

0 looks like a little over 28 , so it's not 25.4 aka 1"... 28.6 is 1.125" (next bigger is 1,25 ")
Unknown is the crown race seat diameter, you show the steering tube.. not fork crown race seat..
That is a headset part ..
Did they say what their fork crown race spec is?

To me, the vernier scale shows 28.6mm diameter, which is 1-1/8" so it should be compatible with his headset. But is the steer tube long enough for the frame?

28.6 spot on. Figure out the crown race diameter & steerer length and you may have a winner as far as actual fitment.
The next thing to look out for is rake, & axle to crown measurement for ride characteristics.
Then, if not disc, the brake arrangement for the intended wheel. The options being cantilever stud placement or caliper reach for the intended wheel.
