Not sure of a model number on this one but it looks like it will clean up nicely. The real treasures are the Brooks B66 and the super champion rims.

And of course if you have any sense of imagination you'll be saying...Narhay, what was in the saddlebag? Please tell us. I wont be able to sleep tonight. And I can't blame you. That was the first thing I checked. One should never go anywhere without a healthy dose of Blue Stratos.

I had a 1980's PX45(?) model that was roughly equivalent to this, but had 650B Model 58 SC rims on it. Sold for a decent nickle!

Look at that. It seems to be most similar to a PX40.

Refreshed. Borrowed the brooks for another bike.

Was that listed on Kijiji up near Newmarket last week?? I "bought" one exactly like it fir $125 then got an email saying seller'd sold it. I figured it was worth it for the seat alone

This is the one and same. He met me halfway in Markham so that made it a lot more palatable.

Mechanically it looks like someone had gone into the bearings and the bike before me but it was a complete mess otherwise.

I was heading to see parents in Minden. Figured grab it on the way, switch seat, "one hour" tune up and flip it.
Good score

X8 for the 1 hour estimate with all the gremlins that appeared but otherwise yes, same idea. I spent 45 minutes just getting the tires to seat properly this morning. Everything had something wrong with it.

When finally taking photos I adjusted the handlebars and of course the clamp bolt was stripped. That was another 30 minutes of figuring it out until I drilled it out and used a seatpost clamp bolt instead.
