I keep on watching these Raleigh Professionals on eBay and find myself wanting one more and more. Most are blue and look a lot like my Schwinn Tempo so holding out for something different to add to the stable. One of those copperish ones is going to come by and hit me right in the wallet someday.

Colnago Eddy tribute FO + FD, looks legit but powdercoat is really damn thick and saturated color. $350.

Colnago tribute to Eddie frame! Molteni !OMG!

"Great restored Colnago super frame 58 cm. Beautiful powder coat with Molteni decals and hand done blue highlights. The frame comes with frt derailleur because I'm afraid to chip the paint when removed, you can do it if you want ? The Headset is not included but can be bought if you need it.keeping it together for the pics.It is super record BTW. call Brad four-oh-four 394 3356"

I had one of these (Raleigh Pro) back in 1974. Compared to Italian geometry the bike seemed to have a higher bottom bracket and standover height for supposedly the same seat tube size (not that I was smart enough to actually measure it at the time).

From what I've read, the BB's on the early Pro's were high. They lowered them in 1977 for the Mk V Pros.

I saw this on our local CL...and thought...why? Why would you take a Colnago, powdercoat the crap out of it...turn it into something it is not...and then try to sell it? Oh...and "I'm afraid to chip the paint"???? In removing a FD?

Yeah it seems much more likely you'd chip the paint removing the (optional) headset than the front DR. I also agree the powder coat and decals fubar'd the frame.

Yeah, struck me as odd also, but I suspect it'll be gone before the end of the week because the presence of the club/clover all over the frame will probably fetch the cash.

I couldn't figure out the FD thing either. If removing the FD will chip the "paint", that's some crappy ass powdercoat!

Very nice Pug. Arguably priced a little on the high side, but just how often do these come up?

Vintage Peugeot Bicycle Reynolds 753 Campagnolo

3cm fewer and I'd be on the phone with the seller right about now:

Eddy Merckx Team Kelme Century TSX - Full Dura Ace

Tiny Merckx Corsa with what appears to have (rare, based on my observation) chrome head tube lugs:

A pair of Grizzlies in the San Francisco area for cheap!

[h=2]Grizzly Bianchi 1980s Downhill MTN bicycle - $140 (sunset / parkside, SF, CA) [/h]https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/5450607788.html

Used steel frame bicycle but in great working condition (a great SF commuter)! No bargains set price at 140. Fits me and I am 5'7" will be a good fit for that tall or 6ft person and no taller. Marged sized Bicycle basically. 2 big cogs where the cranks are and 6 cogs on back cassette. New rim on front with new tires back wheel is a clay Mavic wheel with Mavic hub and new tires. Breaks were just replaced and pedals are new! All breaks and gears have been adjusted and are working normal. Awesome bicycle and has many mounts for racks and other accessories. Like a surly cross check sort of! Cash only! Thanks for looking.

Can meet you in any public place in San Francisco to show you the bicycle or have you try it out!

More often than you'd think, but rarely complete. I don't know what fmv is on this, but $1300 seems high to me. Disclaimer: I'm cheap.

Lemond Road Bike, less than 500 miles!

Asking 300.00 or Best Offer

Lemond Road Bike

That wouldn't last ten seconds around here.

I'm thinking about buying this frame but can't find much on the internet about it. Do you guys know anything about this Cinelli? What would be a fair price to offer? Thanks in advance.

1) Wrong thread.
2) There's no offer option in the listing.

Try asking in the appraisals forum, you'll get more info there.

19.5" monster fat
- $350 (union square)
[/h]

heyo this here is a fun around town bike. a fat chance monster fat rare enough to love but not too pretty to lock up. frame built in somerville ma could probably use a restore if you're not into chipped paint and you're gonna need new decals if you want other people to notice what kind of bike it is. fork is not original but fits well with the aesthetic, the original was a unicrown but fat was known better for their segmented crown. utilitarian build with an acera 1x8 drivetrain, avid sd7 levers and brakes, everything else is in decent shape but not really worth mentioning, maybe time to swap out that carbon bar but thats up to you. i figure the frame is worth $200 as a collectible but for not much more you got a ridable bike. original factory build card with employee signatures included.
