I'm getting a box!
I don't know everything in it. Here is a picture of part of it.
I see two NIB Dura Ace Stems, a derailleur, and nearly new shoes.
My Spectrum came from the same owner as this box. The story is he got stuck in the DA pedals on the bike and crashed, so shelved them forever. So now I have the set.
There is a Kellogg fork not shown. I think it's the same as on the bike now but with less rake, marked 1.6 vs 1.8 for mine. I don't know what that is in MM
Some grease, bearings, and spokes from the looks of it. Not terribly excited about 35 year old tubes and tires. Very excited about those cogs and maybe more in the box, since DA uniglide is a little hard to get parts for.
My dad said there is a jersey too that he didn't take a pic of. He said it's a red nashbar, so nothing too stylish.
I don't know more than that. It should show up next week.

Interesting. To the best of my knowledge, this bike is 1984-85 and probably didn't leave the basement since 1990. It was basically brand new when I got it in October.
The parts box makes me think the original owner continued getting stuff and tinkering with it long after he parked it.
I guess his estate sale looked like a hoarders place, except every single item was extremely high end and immaculate. You should see the sound equipment, fly rods and reels, and tools from the same place.

I have the Spectrum that fits perfectly with yet another DA stem. I don't really think I need anything in the box. I figured that most of this box was going to be stuff I'd sell. I don't know sizes yet. If you zoom in, there is a note, I think it means the top cap is missing or something.

I'm kinda excited about that. I currently either grease with a popsicle stick or a 10cc syringe with a large borrow blunt needle on the end.

I was greasing wheel hub innards with a popsicle stick just this afternoon. I like the syringe idea.

I assembled it for the ports in Dura Ace 7400 hubs, but since I gave them a good repack very recently, it isn't needed. Mostly just did it because I can.

It's here.
The most commented piece was the grease gun.
The shoes are cool and actually my size. Check out the extra loop for the Velcro. These came with a brand new pair of slotted cleats
The fork is damn cool. 41mm rake
This chain might have been in a time capsule
This tire seems fine. I remember and don't miss 20mm

Dura Ace stems, 90 & 100. I think the one on the actual bike is 110. I measured a while ago. The piece that holds the bar into place is loose on one, it wouldn't affect function. Is this normal?
Nib fder. Cool
Lots of bearing and some replacement seals for the bottom bracket too.

I just got a couple add ons from a final house clean of the previous owner.
A silca pump painted to match the bike. Like perfectly. Makes me think Tom Kellogg painted it.
An adjustable tension leather saddle and some other leather saddle. I like the Regal on there so I'll likely just sell these.
An artsy black and white photo of an old motobecane signed by the owner of my bike, he was a wildlife photographer be trade.
