Just what I'd buy if I had $5K lying around to buy what could serve as a 1-bike quiver, if I was ever limited to just 1.

I don't have one, but I love the 2005 Pinarello Paris Aluminum Hydroformed in Blue.

Yes, I definitely recommend the Ciclo ... and I know it's name has changed. I'm not sure why they changed it.
My Marinoni was custom-built for me, and then I've gone on to customize just about everything else.
-- My LBS put an XT 34-11 cassette on right when my Marinoni arrived, at my request.
-- My Marinoni came with oversized handlebars, I rode with them for a little while, and then requested that they be replaced with standard handlebars.
-- I changed out the carbon forks for steel before my first Australian tour.
-- I changed my carbon seatpost for an aluminum one days before my Australian tour when we discovered that my carbon seatpost had shattered.
-- I went through several different saddles and settled on a Brooks B17.
-- I added racks, fenders, and a mirror.
-- Rowan rebuilt my front wheel with a Schmidt hub (that was my engagement ring!! )
-- Rowan replaced my 52/42/32 chainrings and crankset with Shimano Diore 48/36/26.
-- I've burned through two Formula hubs, gave up and replaced the rear wheel.
-- I've gone through several pedals, and have settled on the Shimano pedals that are platforms on one side and SPD on the other.
-- My shifters have been changed to 105s.
I think that's all I've done so far!

My favorite bike is always the one I'm riding, because I decided to ride it for a good reason

I actually don't want any other bike, although I suspect that my top tube might be slightly long for me, but meh.

Does it get much hotter than the Van Dessel Rivet?
One of the most beautiful bikes out there. Having seen it in person, it really is gorgeous. Definitely on my short list if I find myself in need/want of a new race bike in the next couple years - like if a bike fit determines that I need a smaller frame .

My lynskey... I'm usually one for changing things up every so often, but I really can't find anything worth changing. Fit is perfect. The ride is fast, smooth, and comfortable over any distance. It's a fantastic bike.
