Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Project complete... my new Colnago CLX

Here it is, finally complete and ready to hit the road (and hopefully not a car like last bike did). Colnago CLX frameset, Campagnolo Chorus 11sp and custom wheels, all for just under $3k... Final weight at 15.4lbs, not bad...

awesome bike. but apparently there are those who would think otherwise because they don't like non-traditional frames. how did you get that for under 3K? my budget for my new bike is around 3.5K and I'm not coming anywhere close to that.

Wow. Absolutely gorgeous bike. Nice photos. Great build. Unbelievable price. I've been lusting after that frame since I saw the review of it in RBA a while back. You just made it that much worse.

I can't have any more bikes.....I can't have any more bikes.... I can't have any more bikes
