Hello, from Sweden!

Hi all!

I joined over a year ago, but I havn't been in much, and this is my first post ever (I think).
I love riding my bike. However, I consider myself a casual rider more than an athletic one.
I mostly ride in jeans (or shorts) and a t-shirt, not those fancy bike specific vinyl(?) sports gear,
and I don't use those fancy clip pedals, but regular ones.

I mostly just cruise around. When I was younger, I was on the BMX doing freestyle and ramp,
and I've also done some MTB, although never true downhill. Neither have I ever owned a racer.
My current bike(s)..? I still have my old GT Pro Performer (ca 1995), and a 29:er that I've pretty
much put together myself with various cheap eBay-purchased items. Finally, for everyday commuter
transport I have this ½ century old Swedish military bike (model m/42; see Wikipedia for reference)
that serves me pretty damn well, and will probably last for at least half a century more to come.

What else is there to say?
I live in Sweden with my wife, two daughters, and a cat!

Welcome aboard, its not a place to judge you by your clothing or what bike you choose to ride, plenty of different forums to pick from. Try the Recreational Forum for some really laid back folks, great group of bikers there.

Welcome to the forum. Is it a black cat? I imagine a black cat would be very practical in the winter, easy to see against white now.

Hehehe, thanks!

Actually, cat is orange. Also, we're unsure about his age, since he looked kind of abused and confused >3 years ago so we picked him up from our outdoor surroundings. Veterinary's told us you can never know for sure about cats, so he could be 4 and he could be 14. Interesting, indeed. I will surely look into the laidback lounge for chats. Cheers!

Hello from Seattle USA.
Keep an eye out for my red Masi 3V track bike, someone in Sweden purchased it from me.
