I got it ...I got it...te re re re re

My new Trek FX2 Disc came in last night...I went out this morning with Serfaia of the Local Cycling Club...I amazed myself by actually doing 3 rounds of 4.5kms each right off the block! I've been posting and reading here for a couple of weeks now and am so grateful for this forum, especially FIFTY PLUS!!
Thanx y'all Biddies & Buddies

I do not know what a lot of the initial/number things stand for. What is N+1?

Where N represents the number of bicycles you currently own, and N+1 represents the number of bicycles you want to own.

Or N+1 is the number of bikes that triggers your spouse to leave you.

I used to have one of those. My number of N+1 is now have 4 and want another. In the past it was always just 1+1 but remained at 1. I am not being critical. We are both happier our lives.

And if N is limited by your current bike storage space then start looking for a bigger place now for N+1

N+1 is the minimum number of bikes you need, where N is how many you currently have, but not to exceed D-1, where D is the number of bikes that causes a divorce.

I hear that women who own horses use the same formulas.

I feel sad for both men and women who have spousal issues with n+1. Shortly after starting to date my wife she gave me a Schwinn Continental, in 2013 she bought me my Giant Propel Advanced SL so I had a good bike for my first IRONMAN Triathlon at age 63 and last year she bought me a 2018 Roubaix Expert because I test rode one and liked the feeling.

BTW- married 45 years so far.

Get a wife that rides bike, then D-1 doesn't apply.
But garage space gets a bit short!
