Hello from 'The Frozen Chosen'
Greetings from Minnesota! I starting biking again this summer after a 22 year hiatus. During that time, I bought a Harley and hung up my Trek. After 30 pounds gained and couch potato status secured I decided it was high time to pull the bike off the rafters and ride again. The Harley was long gone and in its place I had placed more emphasis on my photography (check out Flickr, Peterstratmoen), but that didn't do much for losing the poundage. So this summer I bought a bicycle and immediately fell in love with riding again. My daily exercise route is 15-20 miles, depending on where I turn back. I try to ride one long ride between 40-60 miles every weekend. So far since July I have logged a little over 700 miles on two bikes. My first purchase was a REI CTY 2.1 and recently a Cannondale Quick Carbon.
