Black Mountain Road Bike

Hello
Looking into purchasing a Black Mountain Road bike size 56 CM. Company is located in Point Reyes Station CA.
Have been in contact via email with owner Mike Varley. He sent me a detailed spec of the 56 CM complete bike with all measurements.
Comments from anybody riding a Black Mountain road bike or any info would be appreciated.

You're probably better off asking this in the Road Fourms

I don't own or ride one but......they look like a very good value, and Ive never read any negative feedback on them. As you know from his website Mike has decades of experience in designing and wrenching on bikes; he will work with you to build the bike up by offering several different price point component packages and hand built wheel sets(he builds 'em). Probably most importantly is do the specs on that size frame work/fit you well, if so its a solid well thought out bike, you could do a lot worse.

yes, this thread is in the wrong place. Let me know what kind of riding you are going to be doing and I'll move it.

People seem to like their BMCs a lot
