Imagining, 4U, a stack of 2 downtube levers side by side,
on a mount going into your bar end tube... facing inward, as the P does,
so as to be operated by the same hand.

BTW, since you're from BikeGang: I opened the shifter, and one part fell off while the other moved around.

Can you tell me how to put it back together, and if there's a way to make the shifter work again now that it's worn out after barely 2,000km ?

Thank you.

I never open up this switch, since you are well in guarantee , would you like to try another one, see how long it will last this time?

Sure, although I don't see why it would last longer since it was never meant to be used as intensively as a derailleur shifter anyway.

Bodging for its own sake, and asking others to do it first to test the waters
first
to know its safe to do yourself , rather than just trying it ..
is a staple of this forum.

just retrofitted by 2007 S type 2 speed Brompton with this shifter kit from Ebay. It fits well and works well. You will need some shifter housing and cut to length.
