Bank donates to future Fort Smith bike and skate park

The First National Bank of Fort Smith president announced Friday that the company would donate $100,000 to a bike and skate park that is to be built on the riverfront in downtown Fort Smith.

“Not only are we going to break ground on this next year,” Sam Sicard said, standing where the parking lot is planned to be. “We’re going to finish it next year.”

congrats. we have a pretty nice one in louisville, but they built it after I was in my 40's. by then i hadn't been in a skate park in about 20 years. I even brought a new skateboard, but I couldn't talk myself into trying it.
