If you are looking for a high quality AL frame bike take a look at Canyon's Pathlight SL 7.0. Next year they may bring in one of the carbon framed models as well. My wife and I have a couple of their high end flat bar road bikes and found them to be a fantastic bikes and Canyon's purchase experience beyond our hopes. Check out the link for the Pathlight here if interested: https://www.canyon.com/en-us/fitness...rahmenfarbe=BK

26lbs for this Pathlite is impressive. Even the now defunct Specialized Crosstrail Carbon Fiber used to be a bit over 27lbs. Although I'm assuming weight loss on the Pathlite is also help by the airfork.

I myself noticed my Crosstrail lost 2 pounds when I switched to an airfork.

(now it's time for me to lose 2 pounds and worry less on bikes losing weight)

I think the Trek FXS6 fits the “gravel hybrid” role very well. I run 700x35’s on mine and it does great on gravel. At 21 pounds it’s a very light and nimble bike.
