Thrift store find - new old stock(?) cannondale trail; what year/model?
I found this today at a local thrift store - they also had a like new/new Giant Sedona but I could only afford 1 ($249 each) so I took this one.
It appears to be brand new! (Even the tires look like they've never touched the ground) I know it's not a 2018 or 2019 because of the straight top bar - can anyone tell me what year it is?
It has 6061 T6 on the inside of part of the frame by the rear wheel - is this a Trail 6?
It also has a Acera rear derailleur & XCM forks - does that help tell what year it is?
I appreciate any help - I bought it to resell.

I would put it somewhere around 2011 or 12 Trail 5. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the trails always had color matched forks. That leads to the question of why this fork isn't white.

2014 is my guess. The serial number should tell you, if it really matters. That's a clean and solid bike. What a deal!
