After a stupid UPS snafu, my 2016 Kilo TT Pro finally arrived. I just finished putting it together and taking it for a spin around the block.
It's pretty darned stock except for a Surly 17t cog, an All-City lockring, and a set of Suntour Cyclone pedals with no-name metal clips and leather straps. Oh, and the bottle cage.
I plan to replace the pedals with the Power Grips Deluxe pedals and straps (yes, I know: boo, hiss, but I love Power Grips and have never had a problem with them ever), a riser bar, a different saddle (because that Kilo TT saddle - while cool looking - is an ass shredder) and a serious clean-up of the steerer-tube/stem situation.
Rides like a dream, just like my old Kilo TT I sold a few years back.

Thanks. 2 years ago I refinished the frame, and built it up with 6800 Ultegra and lower end components. For 2 years I used it as my primary road bike, and must admit that it's a very comfortable frameset. A little heavier than newer frames, but at 1050g (61cm) for 2006 technology, it isn't a pig.
The before shot.

Thank you! I was originally going to get a white Stripper, but I think the Pro does generally look better. Plus you get the better wheels and cranks.
I know, I know, heh. My feet are very long, so regular clips tend to not work well for me. The Power Grips are much better for me.

i wear size 16s and have zero issues with the caged pedals on my track bike.
i even have my cantis set up wide on my cx bike and have never hit my heel on the brake arms.

lol ive actually had this bike before i had any mtbs, this is just one of several iterations of it. ive ridden this bike on the same singletrack where i ride my mtb
it is definitely interesting though, bike weighs like 6 pounds and goes just looking at it. it feels like im cheating
i was surprised at how much fixed felt like "home" though, despite it being like 4 years since ive ridden one

@Mumonkan , wasn't that the frame of your dope ass 650 rando/gravel machine? Also, how tall are you and what size frame do you ride of the 80's vintage? I have a feeling we may be about the same size and I'm looking into old italian frames and don't really know where to start size wise. I'm 5'10 and mostly torso.

size & proportions = same. this bike has 53 st / 55 tt and fits pretty much perfect. just compare tt length to current bikes and go from there. for the most part the st/tt lengths will be square on that era of bikes
