Hey seedsbelize does the Chicxulub Crater you live in or near have any influence on the local cultural identity?
Imagine my disappointment upon following the link.

To be fair, it's huge, and very old. So not much evidence remains if you're looking visually.

Are links always a standard, universal size? They only have to be off a micro smidgen to screw up the calculation.

That's a lot better than mine. The biggest issue is balance. Clamping my mountain bike on the seat tube cantilevers too much mass off to one side. If i'm not careful a small bump will cause it to tip over.

I’m still disappointed about the Chicks Club thing.

I do suppose that the crater was discovered only in the 1970s, with it's role in the Cretaceous extinction event only really defined about 10 years ago. Maybe not recent enough for the significance to sink in. Or maybe people just don't care. NTTAWWT.

We have a meteor strike near us, also. Pretty sure that there is nothing spooky going on there except the inhabitants.

I completed my first Zwift training plan Monday night, a six week plan to increase FTP. I managed to complete every workout. My FTP is no longer a negative number.

Also, to be fair, the bulk of it is out in the gulf. The surface of the earth inside the crater is effectively sea floor, without the water. Fossil filled limestone bedrock on the surface in lieu of soil. And, 20 miles inland, as we are, is barely 20 meters above sea level. Not much crater to be seen if you're not a geologist.

Very anti climatic. Traffic was bad this morning so I changed my route to get away from it, I ran into a dead end so was trying to do a tight U turn, For whatever reason I grabbed the rear brake instead of the front brake and the rear wheel skidded out from underneath of me. Pride hurts more than anything.

The first nice weather always brings out the vehicular homicide in people. On my ride today, a lovely young man in a new Audi pulled up to my right at a red signal and made obvious preparations to turn left on top of me. When I requested he not **** with me, he yelled at me for “cursing in front of my ******g fiancée.” Poor woman.
