For years, I've been in the habit of putting a business card inside the seat post and bottom bracket shell as an additional means of proof of ownership. I can see someone calling the number that used to be mine . . .
I think I'll start sliding fortune cookie style messages into the frames also. Maybe witty bicycle related quotations.

Why is there only 6 cogs on the back, why did he put the weird shifters on the downtube and why did he drill holes in the brake levers and run the cables so high through them. Also, where did he find 700cx23 tires? I had no idea they made them that skinny.
