German kids bike 16" - $60 (Eugene)

Are those 16", or 20" tires?

It appears to have:
Aluminum Frame
Front & Rear brakes.
Front & Rear Generator Lights
Rack
Multi-Speed?
Bell
Is that a lock on the rear wheel below the brake?
Road Tires.

Looks like 20" to me. Not unusual for real Euro street bikes to have full lights front and rear, full fenders and racks regardless of the size or style of bike. There are several Dutch/German adult bikes on our local that are dressed much like this one. And the integrated lock is a standard fitting a lot of the time.

Mother-In-Law Cart?

Just don't take the corners too fast, otherwise you'll never hear the end of it.

It appears as if it connects to the seapostt.

Didn't you know that Schwann also made a Paramount of slightly lower quality than the big sibling Schwinn.

I don't know about anyone else in Houston, but I am SICK of looking at this bike. They post it 5-6 times in a row, sometimes more, and sometimes 5-6 times 2-3 times a day.. I just sent them an email asking if they knew what a big arse they look like posting this thing multiple times every day. How much you want to bet I get a response full of curse words, lol.,,,,BD

I saw one of these in my town lately. I wonder if it has spokes under the hubcaps. There seemed to be a rash of near-recumbent bikes like this about 10-15 years ago, I know Cannondale made a few although feet further up and not as heavily styled.

2005 Cannondale Bent I - BikePedia

Burley also developed a complete line of recumbents in various styles but stopped making them at the same time they stopped making tandems, when they reorganized.

Some of those might fall under "semi-recumbent" rather than "recumbent", as they have a high seat and low pedals.

Can it really be worth that much?

RARE VINTAGE 1930's RALEIGH SPORTS/ROADSTER BICYCLE. 24'' WHEELS. *EASY PROJECT* | eBay

Could anyone tell me what I got hopelessly outbid on here? I was really interested in the brake lever set up, having never seen anything like it before. But what is it exactly? The sloping top tube and the handlebars seem to be the only distinctive features to me. What do you know?

This is probably the wrong place to ask. Either post in the 3 speed thread or create a new post. I'd be interested in what people think as well.
