Nishiki Road Bike
Hello, this is the Craiglist post I'm asking about: nishiki road bike 48cm.
The owner doesn't know the exact model of the Nishiki... but he/she/they are the second owner.
How does the bike look? Is it worth $200? I'm going to check it out soon, but want to figure out a more expert's opinion before.
Thanks!

For reference, I recently sold a Nishiki Prestige for $160 and it sat on CL for a few weeks with little interest.

Not sure I'd pay 200 for a repainted, tiny, old, Japanese bike. Although it has a nice 105 rear derailleur on it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure if Nishiki bikes were known to be very high quality back in the day. I thought they were generally entry level bikes (aka not worth 200 today.) (I may be completely wrong in that statement)

$75-100 tops, imo. That's if you really like the ride. Also have to mention - as someone else did - this a very small frame, you know that right?

Thanks for the advice, everyone! And I'm 5'3'' so I thought a 48cm road bike would be the right fit, according to this: Buying the right size bike, Cycle Experience. Unless the frame is smaller than that?

That bike has the wheelbase of a stretched limo. Makes it look like a Varsity and it's probably a lower level Nishiki.
Not worth asking price. $100 is probably more like it since the components appear to have some value.
