Help disassembling headset on Victoria Tisuna
Hi all,
I've picked up a vintage Victoria Tisuna that I'm planning on restoring, however I can't work out how to remove the fork/headset. There is a keyed washer that I can't remove, I think maybe because the steerer tube should be removed first? But I can't seem to make that work, I must be missing something.
Any help would be great!
I'd post the pic but I've only just signed up and apparently I'm not allowed.

I looked up Victoria Tisuna on Google but didn't see anything to suggest that the headset is significantly different from other headsets of that era. The keyed washer on those headsets sometimes gets jammed, but should eventually come free. Try loosening the threaded cup to force it up a little, then tighten back down and you may find enough of a gap to slide a screwdriver blade in to pry it up further.

Sometimes the tooth of the keyed washer moves out of its groove in the steerer toward the threads. In order to more easily remove the washer, you need to twist its tooth back toward the groove and then lift it up and out. Unscrewing the adjustable cup should lift the washer. But, sometimes, you need a little tool like a flathead screwdriver to pry it up.
