Miche / Campy 10s mix/match- worn C-10 13t,14,16t
I got a nice lightweight C-Rec 11-23 10s Ultra Drive cassette, close to 3,000 miles on it I think- use it only on my carbon tubulars.
Chain had less milage than the cassette but shifting started getting sloppy, chain was stretched so I replaced (Camoy Chorus 10s U.D. I think)
As I'd predicted the more used cogs are now causing skip. I had a new Campy 10s 15t cog so swapped that and it works great, but this leaves the 13t,14t and 16t cogs still causing skip. All others are really quite and shift fine.
Has anyone replaced individual Campy 10s Ultra Drive cogs with Miche? Miche site claims they only work with complet Miche cassettes but are they just covering their legal butts?

Cobbling up a cassette from off brand cogs will usually not work well. To shift properly, each cog must have the proper radial timing, relative to the cogs on each side. Miche cogs are known to shift poorly - you get what you pay for. The smart thing to do is start buying Centaur/Veloce level cassettes, since that's the only models in current production. The downside, is they don't come in an 11-23. If you see any Chorus or Record cassettes, they are NOS.
I'm advising most people to move on to 11 speed if you must have an 11T cog. All you need is the shifters, cassette and chain, plus a minor mod to the RD's cable clamp bolt. 11 speed Chorus cassettes are only about $100.
