Cateye Computer Front Mount

I almost put this in C&V or Over 50 because I'm almost sure there's nothing new I'd discover that most folks here don't already know about. As someone who's last bicycle mounted electronic device was an Avocet 20, last year I began using a Cateye Wireless computer that monitors speed & cadence among other things. I never really liked the mount and recently found a front mount (made by Cateye) that I really like. It clears up the bars and more importantly, I don't have to drop my gaze from the road much to check it. It was 13 bucks or so and well worth it. The model number is OF-100. They also have one called the OF-200 (I think) that allows for the mounting of a light under the computer. It will do 31.8mm bars or 26.0mm bars with the included shim. It fits a variety of Cateye computers, they have a full list on their site.

I'm using one with my Padrone, it does what it was designed to do quite well.

Good idea. I put a "handlebar extender" on my bike for the cyclometer, and other accessories so the bar doesn't get too crowded. Link: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=bike+hand...b_sb_ss_i_6_10
