Seat binder bolt on top of top tube - vintage Italian frame ?
Can anyone suggest an Italian frame manufacturer from the 1940/50's period or even earlier, who located the seat binder bolt on the top of the top tube, instead of the usual location immediately behind the top of the seat tube, please ?
It has been suggested that one of the Italian Mondial companies did so.
Possibly Legano and others located the seat binder bolt beneath the top tube ahead of the seat tube.
I can email a photograph of this arrangement if you email me :- oldlampman@oldlampman.karoo.co.uk
Being a doddery old computer illiterate person, I've no idea how to put a photograph on here !
