Just Bought This Bianchi
Bought this the other week. Haven't seen this bike in red before. Can't seem to find it on the internet anywhere.
I think it might be one of these two models:
https://bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeS...Team&Type=bike
https://bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeS...cord&Type=bike
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

That is one sweet bike! Columbus EL tubing is good stuff. Off the top of my head I would say the bike is likely 1987-1993. Bianchigirl will be able to give you much more information.
Depending on how much you paid, you probably got a killer deal.

Nice Bianchi....but please try not to ride with that cable lock possibly klancking or rubbing against the rear seat cluster. It will eventually damage the paint in that area and your very clean original paintjob will not be the same forever!

Hi
Very nice bike. I have not seen it in red either but in my 93 catalog they do say the frameset was available in Red and Celeste. I don't know if they made this frame in 92 but I don't have it listed in my 91 and earlier catalogs. In 94 they went to EL-OS (as listed on bikepedia) which has a larger diameter top tube and down tube
Is it 8 speed cassette? With the down tube shifters and I would not be surprised if it is 92 but it could be a 93 built with the non-ergo groupo.
I have what I believe is a Celesete EL. it has the same bottom braket with the gussetts and the letter B on the sides and the same lug design. In 94 they change the bottom bracket to one with out a chainstay bridge and the words Bianchi engraved on it.
Either way they did not make it for more than two years so it is not that common.
Nice riding bike and it climbs well too! I have 94 record on mind--how it came to me last fall. Search my handle and you will find pics of it posted. Paid $600 shipped but it was not quite as nice condition as yours is. Still isn't has mine has chips here and there. Yours looks pristine.
Have fun riding it.

I didn't leave a value but I answered the year and model question int he apprasail forums. the frame is '93 and the Ferrari Red is the real color.
