Seat post diameter 1992 Cannondale ST 600?
I know I should have a caliper for this, but I don’t, so I am going to ask a stupid question.
Doing a new Cannondale ST600 build and was wondering what size seat post that frame takes and what is the seat tube diameter for a clamp on FD.
I figure someone out in C&V land knows this.
Thanks in advance and I am ordering a caliper!

27.2 for the post and 31.8 for the FD clamp. If your inch ruler measures really close to 1 1/4" on the seat tube diameter, then it's 31.8 for sure.

Absolutely correct. 👍 I actually had an old Shimano MT62 FD, that was marked 1 1/4”, that fit an ‘85 ST seat tube perfectly. 🙂

Just for fun I thought I would show some pictures of how it is going. I have not taken many pictures during the build, but now that it is getting close to finished I am excited and taking pictures.

Very nice! Admire your flooring and the old library table too.
