Replacement Trek head badge screws?

I’ve lost the small brass machine screws used to attach the screw on head badges. Anyone happen to know what size I need to pick up?

Probably #2 x 1/8. McMaster Carr has them, but you'll need to buy a bunch. I have had no luck finding them at local hardware stores. You may want to try a local LBS that has been in business for a long time as well.

You can try by measuring the hole.

I don't know about Trek but I have used both 4-40 & 2-56

If you can't find them in a "Good" hardware store try a gunsmith

Yes, they're #2-56 x 1/8". I bought longer ones at Ace Hardware and cut them with a dremel cutoff wheel.

Looks like they only go to 4-40 at my local Ace. Looks like I’ll be ordering some.

At my local Ace, the "miniature" hardware is in a separate selection kit.
With that said, one advantage to ordering is that you can order the correct slotted-head brass screws. Ace only has stainless Phillips-head.

I saw the correct size stainless, but really wanted to stay with brass.

On that note, if anyone needs a few of these let me know.
